Final Fantasy XIV Introduces Samurai For Stormblood

At a FF XIV fan event in Germany, the MMORPG’s producer/director Naoki Yoshida announced some new details about the June expansion, including the Samurai job and a new city – Kugane.

Here are a few of the tidbits revealed at the event:

• Samurai Job – Their katana can perform special attacks, and the job features three Sen forces: snow, moon, and flower.
• Kugane – A port city in Hingashi with a strict no-violence policy. Also includes the Shirogane residential area with a new housing style.
• The Ruby Sea – A new area on Othard that’s home to the underwater Kojin traders.
• New Dungeons – Includes the Yanxia and The Azim Steppe dungeons in Othard.
