Ho-Oh is available starting today in Pokemon Go.

As announced on Pokemon Go’s official site, Ho-Oh will begin appearing in gyms today and will be available in raid battles worldwide until December 12.

Ho-Oh comes as a reward for completing the Global Catch Challenge, which tasked players with catching 3 billion Pokemon in under a week.

Other rewards for the challenge last until December 1 and include double XP, double Stardust, six-hour lure modules, and increased Pokemon spawns. Farfetch’d (normally only available in Asia) also appeared worldwide for 48 hours once players met the 3 billion Pokemon goal.

Ho-Oh joins previously released Legendary Pokemon including Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Lugia, Entei, Raikou, Suicune, and Mewtwo, leaving Mew and Celebi as the only remaining Legendary Pokemon from generation one and two.

While most of these Pokemon (including Ho-Oh) are available in standard raids, Mewtwo is only available in invite-only EX Raids, which Niantic officially launched last week.

The third generation of Pokemon (which originally appeared in Pokemon Gold and Silver) is expected to come to Pokemon Go starting next month.

Andrew is IGN’s executive editor of news and currently has 250 Pokemon caught in his Pokedex. You can find him rambling about Persona and cute animals on Twitter.
