What the Inside of a Nintendo Switch Looks Like

Tearing open the box is one thing, but actually taking apart the Nintendo Switch is another.

Yet, that’s what the Fictiv Blog did. Instead of playing games on Nintendo Switch, they decided to see what’s under the hood, or actually the screen in this instance. Take a look at one photo below.

One of the funny takeaways from the teardown is that the speakers aren’t actually behind the speaker grills on the back of the hybrid system. Also of note is that the kickstand might feel cheap, but it’s actually made of glass-filled nylon.

In addition to the tablet, Fictiv also looked inside the Joy-Cons but didn’t discuss the Switch controller sync issues.

It’s also important to know what’s happening on the system’s outer shell. And apparently, stickers and skins cause surface damage to the Nintendo Switch.

For more on the hybrid console, be sure to check out IGN’s review in progress for Nintendo Switch. Also don’t forget about our complete Switch buyer’s guide either.
