Once more unto the breach…

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will see players traveling through the Ultra Wormholes that were introduced in Sun and Moon.

According to a post on the official Pokemon website, journeying through the Ultra Wormholes with the help of version exclusives Solgaleo and Lunana, players will discover the world of Ultra Megalopolis, a world that had its light stolen by Necrozma.

A tall tower stands in Ultra Megalopolis, and The Pokemon Company hints that something special may await players at the top.

In addition, it has been revealed that Ultra Wormholes have warp holes within them, leading to different worlds. Some of these warp holes even lead to the home worlds of the Ultra Beasts.

The player isn’t the only one who can travel through Ultra Wormholes, however. The Ultra Recon Squad has come to the Alola region from the other side. The Ultra Recon Squad members that are featured prominently in the story will depend on whether trainers are playing Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon.

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will also see the introduction of new Ultra Beasts, powerful Pokemon with special abilities that make them valuable members of any team. The Ultra Recon Squad brought one such Ultra Beast with them, codenamed “UB Adhesive.” This Ultra Beast is a poison type creature with the “Beast Boost” ability.

The other Ultra Beasts encountered during a trainer’s journey will depend on which version they are playing, with Ultra Sun players finding UB Burst and Ultra Moon players meeting UB Assembly.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will be released on November 17. Don’t forget to stop by Target before October 14 for a special Charizard code, and keep an eye on our Event Pokemon page to make sure you don’t miss any of the other special event giveaways.
