Take Advantage of These Extended Pokemon Go Event Bonuses

[ad_1]

Pokemon Go Fest is the first live, real-world event for Pokemon Go, which also may feature the first appearance of a Legendary Pokemon.

  • When: July 22, 2017
  • Where: Grant Park Chicago, Illinois

This live event requires tickets, which could be purchased for $20. You can see a schedule of events below.

The Mystery Challenge was revealed to be a special Legendary Pokemon Raid. If Phase 2 is successful, the rest of the world will also have access to the Legendary Pokemon in the next few days.

All Catch Challenges reached Gold reward status by the end of the challenge window. The following will be in effect until July 27 5 p.m. PDT

  • Double Candy
  • Double XP
  • Double Stardust
  • Reduced Hatching Distance
  • Reduced buddy distance

Take advantage of this by using a Pinap Berry against rare Pokemon to receive four times the usual Candy. That’s 12 Candy for base Pokemon, 20 Candy for second stage Pokemon like Dragonair, and 30 Candy for third stage Pokemon.

With reduced buddy walking distance, 3km per candy is reduced to 1, and 5km per candy is reduced to 1.7.

Additionally, Lugia and Articuno were unlocked, and both are appearing in Raids now. See Legendary Pokemon for more information on them.

The host, Rachel Quirico, said:
“We have unlocked the Legendary Pokemon Lugia. Lugia will be introduced to Raid Battles worldwide in the next 48 hours. But trainers here at Grant Park, everyone who has successfully checked in, will receive Lugia in your account.”

The Mystery Challenges involved which Team contributed the most to the Catch Challenge.

  • 3rd Place: Team Instinct
  • 2nd Place: Team Valor
  • 1st Place: Team Mystic

Because Team Mystic caught the most Pokemon during Pokemon Go Fest, “The next Legendary Pokemon that will be released is Articuno.”

Lugia July 22, 2017 – ?
Articuno July 22, 2017 – July 31, 2017
Moltres July 31, 2017 – August 7, 2017
Zapdos August 8, 2017 – August 14, 2017
