Splatoon 2 Has A Neat Musical Easter Egg During Matchmaking

[ad_1]

This weekend, Nintendo Switch owners eager to try Splatoon 2 ahead of launch have been given the chance to take part in a series of hour-long multiplayer demos called the global testfire. During this time, some participants discovered a cool musical easter egg in the game’s lobby while waiting to enter new matches.

As participants pile in to the match, you can use both joy-con controllers to warp and change the background music. You add in your own sound effects by moving around the analog sticks and pressing buttons. It’s a small but fun way to pass the time as you wait for the session to begin.

Check out Polygon’s video below to get a better glimpse of this easter egg:

The final global testfire demo is today at 4 p.m. PT. You can read some of our early hands-on impressions of the game hereSplatoon 2 launches on the Nintendo Switch this summer.
