Shadow of War's Blade of Galadriel Story DLC Out Tomorrow

The story expansion and a host of free content updates arrive tomorrow.

Shadow of War’s Blade of Galadriel Story DLC comes out tomorrow, and it will allow players to fight as Eltariel, an elite Elven warrior and Nazgul hunter.

Monolith Productions’ Community Manager, Andy Salisbury confirmed the expansion will launch February 6 alongside a number of free content updates and fixes players. Full details are available on WB Games’ site.

The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion, included in Shadow of War’s $40 Season Pass and available separately for $15, allows players to hunt Nazgul as Elven warrior Eltariel, the titular Blade of Galadriel and expert assassin. Eltariel sports dual blades and a host of new abilities, skills, and equipment. The expansion will also feature new Nemesis characters, as well as eight new Legendary Orcs who can join the player in the main story campaign.

A free content update also coming February 6 will add enhancements to the Nemesis System, which include new behaviors and traits for hostile and friendly Orc Captains, new options for Photo Mode, new player skins, and more. A new menu will add stat tracking, and field of view options will also be added, as well as a number of UI and stability improvements, bug fixes, and balance updates.
