Overwatch's Omnic Uprising Skins Seem to Have Leaked

[ad_1]

In what’s become something of a tradition at this point, some upcoming Overwatch content appears to have leaked – in this case, upcoming event skins.

Posted by Imgur user raulrsd, off-screen images of the Xbox One dashboard appear to show Tracer, Reinhardt, Mercy and Torbjorn in new get-ups:

If the images are genuine, it would match up with the recent Overwatch “Uprising” comic, which ends with the same four characters in the same four costumes (image below), on their way to tackle a robotic crisis in London.

The comic is almost certainly a precursor to the King’s Row Uprising in-game event scheduled to drop tomorrow, April 11. Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan has inferred that, whatever this turns out to be, it will take place within the game’s backstory, rather than reflect a real-life holiday event.

These likely won’t be the only skins available – Kaplan has previously promised that Widowmaker will receive her first legendary-level skin since release at some point soon. This seems the time.

One thing we definitely won’t see tomorrow is the abandoned “cat in a jetpack” hero the Overwatch designers once considered. Shame.
