How to Unlock Tomb Missions[edit]

The island of Solis in Just Cause 4 has been ruled for centuries by the Espinosa family, ever since the days when they were conquistadores. Since then, the Espinosas have maintained a version of history where the original rulers of Solis were tyrants and madmen, who their ancestors justly deposed.

Javi Huertes thinks he can prove otherwise, and needs your help to do it. By finding out the truth behind Solis’s indigenous population, you can give Oscar Espinosa one more headache right when he needs it the least.

Once you’ve completed “Behind the Lines” in Wachikuni, a new quest called “The Secret History of Solis” appears on your world map. Completing it introduces you to Javi, unlocks the Retractor option for your grappling hook, and puts you on an unlabeled side quest to discover the rest of Otorongo’s Tombs.

Knowing Javi also opens his particular missions on the world map. Completing jobs for Javi earns you Mod Points towards purchasing new options for the Retractor.
