Harmonix Announces Rock Band 4 Season Spotlight Pass

Not content to let Rock Band DLC get lost in the conversation, Harmonix has announced a new kind of season path for Rock Band 4.

The Spotlight Pass, a season-long pass for a fee of $13.49, entitles purchasers to permanently own whatever new songs are featured in a week’s Rivals Mode challenge, for a total of eight songs over the course of the eight-week season. Harmonix clarified that these are all completely new songs and are not ones from the Rewind category.

The season pass only lasts for Season 2 of Spotlight, which ends on October 17, 2017. It will be available for purchase on August 24 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
