Hands-On Ford GT Order Kit Includes Sample Materials

Not only is the Ford GT a limited production vehicle; Ford Performance will provide approved applicants with a unique order kit for the all-new supercar. The new Ford GT order kit is more personal than the standard vehicle configurator.

The kit comes in a carbon fiber case – in the same weave pattern as the real car – as well as the same latch found on the Ford GT race car. A concave space near the latch is designed for the owner’s replica VIN plate that will be sent once their order is serialized.

Inside the case, future owners will find eight exterior color samples with removable/interchangeable racing stripes on scale Ford GT molds as well as scaled-down replica wheels with different color brake calipers. Interior samples include material swatches of each available interior theme including leather and Alcantara.

Authentic colors, finishes and materials will provide them an intimate, tactile way to discern the multitude of choices to configure their ideal supercar.”
