Fortnite: Week 9 Challenges Leaked (Shifty Shafts Treasure Map)

Fortnite Week 9 of the Season 5 Battle Pass is almost here and our guide has the Shifty Shafts treasure map and the Dance Off with another player near Loot Lake location. Clear at least four of the seven challenges to earn 9000XP. This set will be released on September 7, 2018.

Challenges for Week 9 have been leaked early thanks to Fortnite Tracker.

We don’t have the official location of the hidden battle star for this week but a leaked file asset shows a potential location.

This map shows a hidden battle star sitting of the irregular mountain north of Salty Springs and southwest of Dusty Depot. Since we haven’t seen this battle star this season, it’s likely this will be the location for this week.

A fairly simple challenge as you are only required to hop into a single ATK. Wondering where you can find one? The desert biome if filled with them whether it’s the race track, Paradise Palms, or near the gas station. Snobby Shores is also home to a number of vehicles as is Lazy Links. A single ATK cart can be found at Junk Junction, Flush Factory, and at the wooden fort north of Wailing Woods.

We’re not quite sure what this one wants but you need to dance with another player at least once at an undisclosed location near Loot Lake. We’ll update this section once the challenges go live!

Thankfully, chests are scattered all over Pleasant Park. The not so great part is that Pleasant Park is typically a busy area. If you’re looking for chests. A lot of them will require you to break through a wall to get to them, so don’t be afraid to search a little.

In Pleasant Park, chests can be found in these locations:

• Inside attcis (very common).
• Inside a garage.
• In the middle of the soccer field.
• At the gizibo in the center of town.
• Inside a dog house near the northeastern house.
• Down in the cellar of one home south of the gas station.

Take out five enemies using Assault Rifles. Any of the following weapons will work:

Defeat three enemies in Tomato Temple. This new area takes some getting used to but it’s worth noting that so many of the changes to this area were made underground. This means a lot of players will land in the lower sections of the temple, allowing you to grab a weapon from the higher portions and shoot from above. Traps are worthwhile here as not everyone knows the entire layout and the many secret walls and rooms.
