Fortnite Week 9 Challenges – Carnival Clown Boards Map and Locations

Fortnite Week 9 Challenges of the Season 6 Battle Pass are here and our guide features tips on all seven challenges. Clear at least four of the seven challenges to earn 5,000XP. This set was released on November 22, 2018.

Challenges go live at 6AM PT on November 22.

The latest Fortnite patch added four clown boards across the map. Your job is to find three of them and earn a score of 10 or more once you activate the game. Use our map below to find each location.

And a list of locations:

• East of Junk Junction
• Pleasant Park
• North of the RV Park, southwest of Lonely Lodge.
• Near the bridge where the grass and the desert meet.

How do you get a score of 10 or more? Just activate the carnival game and shoot the balloons as they appear from the holes. If that doesn’t work, just try whacking the balloons with your pickaxe!

Get 30 seconds of airtime using either a Shopping Cart, ATK, or Quadcrasher. By the looks of the challenge, it seems you (thankfully) do not need to do all 30 seconds in one go. Simple ride off ramps and cliffs and you’ll quickly rack up your 30 seconds.

Wondering where you can find an ATK? The desert biome if filled with them whether it’s the race track, Paradise Palms, or near the gas station. Snobby Shores is also home to a number of vehicles as is Lazy Links. A single ATK cart can be found at Junk Junction, Flush Factory, and at the wooden fort north of Wailing Woods.

A multi-stage challenge. The first is simply to consume 20 mushrooms. These are typically found in groups. Look for apples underneath smaller trees with the bushy tops while mushrooms grow well in marshy areas and near big trees like in Lonely Lodge. We’ll update this list as we find the rest!

• Stage 1: Consume Mushrooms

Deal 300 damage using a Clinger, a Stink Bomb, or a Grenade. Any of these weapons will do:

Stink Bombs are going to be pretty low priority as they deal small amounts of damage over time. Grenades and Clingers will do 100 damage each and can still hit multiple players, so prioritize these two weapons. If you see a team or squad that’s sticking close, use that time to strike!

Dynamites are the latest weapon added to Fortnite and this challenge tasks you with dealing 10,000 damage to enemy structures. Seems like a lot but once you realize a stick of dynamite can cause 800 damage to structures, it ain’t that bad.

The new Wild West LTM has a limited amount of weapons so the chances of finding Dynamite is way higher in this mode.

Take out the three enemies using either a Rocket Launcher or a Grenade Launcher. These explosive weapons currently do not appear in the two limited time modes so you’ll have to stick to getting lucky and finding them in the main modes.
