Destiny 2: Osiris Raid Lair Walkthrough

[ad_1]

The Leviathan, Eater of Worlds is the first of two Raid Lair activities for the Leviathan Raid. Raid Lairs are just as difficult and complex as a normal raid but shorter in length. The Leviathan, Eater of Worlds boats a recommended Power Level of 300 and will reward players with all new Raid Armor and Weapons.

Taking place inside another portion of Emperor Calus’s World Eater ship, players must delve deep within to eliminate a threat.

This Raid Lair begins in the same area as the Leviathan Raid except this time the large vault door in front of you will be open.

Enter through the now opened vault door and follow the corridor until you get to a series of pipes. You must drop down into the pipes and now follow that corridor until you see an open pod.

Go into the pod and this will lead you into a boiler room. You must time your jump and jump through the rotating circles in order to get to the other side of the ramp.

Once you are out of the boiler room, a magnetic waterfall will suck your fireteam in and lead you down into the next area.

After leaving the magnetic waterfall, your fireteam will enter the Reactor room

You’ll know your in the Reactor room because it’s all purple. There will be one platform sticking out of the Reactor’s water.

The key here is to have only ONE person from your fireteam on a single platform at a time. Once the first player is on the first platform, another platform will emerge from the water.

The first player must then hop over to the second platform and another member from the fireteam must take their place on the previous platform. A new platform will then emerge which requires the first player to hop onto this one, the second player hopping onto the first player’s previous platform, and a third player hopping onto the second player’s previous platform. Continue this process until everyone is over to the next checkpoint.

This next set of platforms is the same concept except the fireteam will be split into two different teams. Separate your team into teams of three and follow the same strategy to the next checkpoint.

The final set of platforms is the exact same concept as the previous two but this time players will be shot at by psions. Kill the psions and move as a team.

Once your team has succesfully overcome the platforms, a horde of Cabal soldiers will attack you.

Eliminate all the soldiers to complete the first challenge of the Raid Lair.

Collect your rewards from the Chest and drop down into the hole that just opened behind the chest. An airlift will prevent you from falling all the way down but will push you toward a hallway.

Take this hallway all the way down until you reach a room with two massive reactor pumps.

These reactor pumps send out a lethal pulsewave everytime they activate. Wait until the pumps send out the pulsewave and run to the safe corner.

There are many safe corners in this room so no need to panic. Time the pulsewaves and move to the next corner until you are out of the room.

Drop down and your team will now be face to face with a eerie spiraling hallway. Take this hallway all the way down until you reach the door at the end.

After a few words from Calus, the door will open and shoot your team out like a cannon. You have to avoid the debris during this process as it will kill you on impact.

Look down to see where the debris is coming.

Once your team survives the fall, you will be in the presence of a large Vex cluster. The mission is to break the barrier of the cluster one wall at a time.

In this final area there are three main platforms surrounding the Vex cluster. In between each platform are floating rocks that you can jump on to reach the next platform. Each main platform holds an altar with three flames of a specific element:Arc, Void, and Solar. Make sure you take time beforehand to memorize which platform corresponds with which element.

When the encounter starts, three crystals of random elements will spawn on a random side of the Vex cluster. Quickly call out the elements of the crystals and the side of the Vex cluster they are on.

There will be Vex heads that spawn on top of the rocks between the platforms that you must pick up and bring to the altars.

Placing a Vex head in the elemental flame will produce a laser weapon of that elemental damage after a short period of time. Once the laser is forged, shoot your elemental laser at the matching element crystal.

Each laser only has enough ammo to destroy one crystal so it is vital to forge the correct elements for the lasers. It is possible that your team has to forge three of the same elemental laser since the crystal elements will be random.

Repeat this entire process until all the barriers on the Vex Cluster are destroyed.

Argos is the Raid Lair boss and is the entity that was inside the Vex Cluster you just opened. You must use the same mechanics as the previous encounter (bring the Vex heads to the flames to form elemental laser weapons) in order to defeat Argos.

Argos is encased in a protective barrier for now but there will be three elemental sparks around his barrier: one on the left, one on the right, and one at the top. These elemental sparks will be random elements and it is essential for your team to call out which type of elemental lasers you need to be forging.

There will also be three large nodes on Argos’d barrier, one in front of each main platform, and one of these nodes will be lit up.

The goal is to fire the elemental lasers at the matching sparks at the same time in order for them to travel into the lit up node. Once the three correct lasers are forged, your entire team should meet up at the same platform in front of the lit up node. The three laser-bearers need to coordinate and shoot their respective sparks at the same time in order for Argos’s shield to come down.

If done correctly, your fireteam will enter the damage phase where you can aim for Argos’s head for maximum amount of damage.

During this damage phase part, Argos will shoot rockets and webs at you. If a teammate is caught in Argos’s web attack, just simply shoot the web for them to break free.

Once this damage phase ends, Argos will spawn another three random elemental sparks. Your team must work quickly to call out these sparks and the lit-up node so you can try to forge lasers and break his barrier again. Doing so successfully will grant you another DPS phase before he launches his main attack.

Argos’s main attack rips Void energy from the air in order to wipe your team. He will summon multiple platforms around him during this attack. Argos has three weak points while using his Void attack: his two arms, two spots on his back, and the top of his head. One of these weak points will open up during the attack and your team must use the platforms Argos summons to get a good angle to shoot at his weak points.

Your team will be able to distinguish which weak spot to hit because it will glow bright white. If enough damage is done, Argos will flinch and put up his barrier again with the three elemental sparks.

Continue to call out which elemental lasers need forging and which platform the team needs to end up on. The faster your team can fire the three sparks into the lit-up node, the more time your team has to forge the second set of lasers after the first DPS phase.

Perfect these encounters and put enough damage into Argos and your fireteam will come out of the Raid Lair victoriously.

Note: If your team fails to get at least 5 total DPS phases on Argos, it will most likely be a retry.
